Impact strength of 30×30cm tempered glass sheet:
- 6 mm thick tempered glass is able to withstand the impact of a 250 g ball flying from a height of more than 3 m;
- 8 mm thick tempered glass is able to withstand the impact of a 500 g ball flying from a height of 2 m.
In the event of a glass crash, it falls in small pieces, thus protecting it from damage.
